Join Dr. Andrea M. Slominski, PhD (AKA Dr. A.) for an exploration of what current menopause culture is missing, the soul-making potential within women’s midlife.
In her presentation, Dr. A. will explore the rise of “Regency” since 1900 and why she considers Regency, ages 45 to 70+, to be women's new power years.
This will include mythological consideration of the return and rise of the archetypal/sacred feminine, and the accompanying evolution of the goddess metaphor from a triple goddess to a quaternity, namely, Maiden, Householder, Regent, and Wise Woman.
Finally, she will offer how women’s midlife encompasses more than menopause, by sharing examples from her private practice.
