Shannon Sloan-Spice

Dr. Shannon Sloan-Spice is an artist, mother, cultural mythologist, wellness provider, and storyteller. She earned her PhD in Mythological Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where she taught "The Healing Power of Creativity" in the Engaged Humanities and Creative Life M.A. program. She currently teaches at Oakton College, IL, and Vermont State University. When not teaching, she is an ecotherapist, spiritual counselor, yoga instructor, death doula, and grief support guide. She leads storytelling workshops for individuals and organizations around the country.
