3 juin 2026 - 24 juin 2026

À propos

In the beginning there was darkness and the Creator, Inyan, began the process of creating the world. Spirits were created. We will look at the oral tradition myths the Lakota people have lived with since the beginning of time. The spirits gave tasks to the people in way of ceremonies. These were brought by another entity the Buffalo Calf woman. The people learned through this process to live in a good way. There were directions to establish and the universe to know about. These are some of the stories that are important to the Lakota people. We will explore this universe in the oral tradition of sharing stories in a good way. Good and bad were part of the balance and harmony that existed. How to live a good life and honor the relationships of all that exists and is connected is all part of the learning process. We will explore some of the teachings that are important to Lakota people. The knowledge in these myths is part pf the oral tradition. Stories were part of the sacred instructions to the people. The path is there and we will share the knowledge that is real. Class Instructor Mato Topa aka Robert A.
